Our mission is to explain the forces shaping MENA with clarity, context and intellectual honesty — covering politics, economics, society, security and culture across Arabic-speaking, Persian, Turkish, North African and Mediterranean worlds.
How we work
Every article is researched, written and edited by journalists and analysts with regional expertise. We avoid jargon, resist stereotypes and foreground the voices and histories that make the region intelligible on its own terms. When we use graphics, data or multimedia, it is to deepen understanding, not to decorate.
Editorial team
